The Albuquerque German Christmas Market began as a shared dream among members of the local German community who longed for the warmth, traditions, and festive spirit of the beloved Christmas markets found throughout Germany.
Inspired by those cherished memories, Barbara of Das Brotkörbchen German Micro Bakery, along with Elisabeth of Beth’s German Goodies Micro Bakery and other members of the Albuquerque German Language Group (AGLG), came together to create Albuquerque’s very own traditional Christkindlmarkt, bringing a piece of Germany to the place we now call home.
What started as a small community event at Eurozone Food Distributors quickly grew into something much bigger thanks to the incredible support of the local community. After two successful years in our original location in 2024 and 2025, we are excited to announce that beginning in 2026, the market will move to Winrock Town Center Park, allowing us to welcome even more visitors, vendors, and holiday traditions.
We are deeply grateful for the enthusiasm and support that has helped this market grow, and we look forward to continuing this festive tradition with the Albuquerque community for years to come.
Admission is free, so come shop, stroll, and experience a beloved European holiday tradition right here in Albuquerque.
This special one-day event will be open from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and will feature a wide variety of handcrafted goods, festive treats, and authentic German, Austrian and Swiss specialties.
Many of our vendors offer freshly made and small-batch items that are available only while supplies last. While vendors will do their best to have enough products throughout the day, popular items may sell out early so we encourage visitors to arrive early for the best selection.
And if you happen to miss out on something this year, don’t worry - the Albuquerque German Christmas Market is an annual holiday tradition, and we look forward to welcoming you back year after year.
We will have more vendors than ever before, and while most of them will try to offer either credit card payments / Venmo / Zelle / Apple Pay / etc, some vendors will be cash only so come prepared.

Parking is free and will be available on site.
We are going to have security walking throughout the market, which will also include a lost and found station.
Each vendor will make a little gift basket of their products that will be raffled off on site. Costs for each ticket are tbd by Saranam and all profits will go directly to Saranam, a local organization with a mission to empower families to end their homelessness and poverty through housing, education, and supportive communities.
Dogs are welcome at the Albuquerque German Christmas Market! We expect the market to be very busy throughout the day, so for everyone’s safety and enjoyment, please keep all dogs leashed and be respectful of fellow guests, vendors, and other pets.
