My name is Dagmar Beinenz-Byrd, I grew up in Germany and fiber arts have always been a part of my life.

Since my family moved to New Mexico in 2007 I have pursued the creation of beautiful colorful yarns, that capture the beauty of the Land of Enchantment, and started my business ZiaWoolz almost ten years ago. 

I strive to create yarns, that you want to touch and that inspire you to create something beautiful! I use professional acid dyes on commercially produced high quality yarns in a variety of  weights and blends with wool, alpaca, silk and nylon, all suitable for various purposes, like garments, shawls and other accessories.

Seasonally I also offer limited quantities of hand-knit items, as well as project bags for knitters.
